Tea with Beatrix Potter...

Why all the tea parties lately? Well, because there is no gardening to do in the winter. I spend the winter doing artwork, fiber and finally, in Feb and March, start planting seed in trays in the house.
I cover it all in this new video and I have about 15 minutes of information on the beloved Beatrix Potter; her life, her work.

  3. I love all your videos, Jeri. This one was particularly wonderful because it brought back memories of my visit to Near Sawrey where Beatrix lived. It was quite magical and you've captured that magic here.

    1. I remember when you went and gave us such a nice report! My son was going to take me to England this year, but they had a baby... so maybe one day we'll go when my grandson is older.

  4. I really don't think I have ever been in better company than I have been today with the Hopalong Hollow Bunnies! Can you only imagine how delighted Beatrix Potter would have been to have these girls sit at her table for tea? Thank you so much for having me here! I have loved it!

  9. Dear Jeri,
I so enjoyed the tea party. I own just one of her books, and I truly enjoyed it. Beatrix Potter's Gardening Life. I loved watching you needle felt. You do have the magic touch, and your rabbits are perfection my friend. It has been so long since I have picked up my wool.
I hope this note finds you well.

  10. I love Beatrix Potter. I have through my rounds of re-sale stores picked up a few of Peter Rabbit plates, cups and a darling cross stitched picture. I use them and remember how tickled I was when I found them hiding among other things in the store.
