Off to the Fair

A very quick post today.
I'm far behind in my work for the fair, as you can see by my work table.

Missing arms, missing tails, no clothing, paws not sewn, more whiskers, etc.,etc. I 'll be working into the wee hours.
I've another unfinished batch packed in a large basket.
I'll end up working in the hotel room,as usual.
Tying up loose ends, and bodies.
But when finished, Hopalong Hollow will be well represented.

From badgers, squirrels, fox, possum, bear, and many rabbits and mice.

Hope to have a lovely presentation with my books, paper-cuttings, prints and cards.

and Hopalong Hollowfolk...(those i finish!)

See you at the Fair!

  2. I remember working seven days a week getting ready for an out of state show that lasted ten days. It was the last show I ever did. So much work. My hat is off to you girl. Have fun.

  6. Dearest Jeri ~ Bless your heart! Your little critters are so sweet and full of personality. They are a lovely representation of Hopalong. May you have a very good show.

I don't see how you do all that you do, creating, taking care of home and hearth, and doing shows too.

  8. Critters galore! Their fuzziness looks just perfect for autumn weather. I love where I live and wouldn't change for the world, but I do wish I was close enough to come to the Fair, Jeri. Enjoy!

  9. I love how you've displayed them in the hollow of a tree! And the badgers are might cute considering badgers generally aren't! I love the rabbit, too. I hope you have a successful show. You've certainly earned it.

But you are magic, and you'll be ready for the show to go on. HUGS and have a blast! Can't wait to hear all about it!

  12. Well Jeri, I'm sure that you will have everything all set to hopalong to the Fair. I'm thinking about all those lucky folks who will be able to attend the Fair and meet you and see all your creations presented beautifully. And...to have the opportunity to offer some of those little beauties new homes, too.

Best wishes for an enjoyable weekend!
