  2. Love seeing your pictures. It's so interesting to me how many similarities we have between where we live. We could practically be neighbors! :) Although, I have kept it to just 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 rabbits, and 26 chickens. We're looking at ducks and geese again, my kids are vying for a pig, and alpacas are a long standing argument. :) I love that you have flowers coming up. None here just yet, we're into the full on mud-season I think! Happy Easter!

  19. Jeri, I just came over from your comment on Bonnie's blog -- so glad I found your delightful site! I love your house, your "story" and your art! My house is only about 60 years old, so I have to do things to "old it up"! I enjoy what I call heritage cooking, cooking the traditional foods of my family (English on my mother's side and Southern on my father's.

    1. Jean, thanks for visiting and nice to "meet" you! There is a lot you can do to "age" a house. My mother aged her 1960' home to look like a Victorian cottage, inside and out.

  27. Dear Cousin Jeri,

We hope you had a delightful Resurrection Sunday, too!

The sheep amongst your daffodils are so lovely! My daffodils are still under the snow, except near the house.

  28. Haven't been to my blog to update for months an months..but came here to look up Scherenschnitte..I have a girlfriend who does it..and remembered yours and wanted to see it again. You are SO busy. Feel like I'm doing nothing with preparing for the move, moving, winding down from the move..etc. Glad to see you in productive mode. Hoping to get back to my own, much slower, less productive, but satisfying at my age...MODE! Thanks for being here..just spent a nice 1/2 hour in your art and love it so much!
