.
The Country Living Fair was really wonderful this weekend.
We sold many books and met a lot of fine folk.
Just look at this magnificent PUMPKIN Pyramid! ( thank you very much Mary, for sending this to me! )
I could have come home with antiques and some fabulous goodies from the booths of great folk Artists, but instead I came home with these.... Pumpkins and Gourds left over from the displays put on by the Country Living staff.
I decided to make my very small version here at the Manor.
On Thanksgiving day, I will chop all of this bounty into bits and pieces and the goat-gals, she-sheep and chicken-folk will have a veritable feast!
In the meantime, it will grace our front entry. Orange really does look its best when worn in Autumn.
So glad you had a great show Jeri. What a fun one that must have been too. Your pumpkins and gourds are pretty in your autumn display. The critters sure are in for a feast come Thanksgiving.

Orange and autumn do go together - that is for sure. Your sized down display is pretty special. It would go very well in the front of my house. Now I'm going to have to think of doing more than the sad little mum and pumpkin that I have sitting there.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.

Dear, dear Jeri, what a warm and cozy vision of your manor. I can only imagine what it is like to wake up to the smell of the country...the animals and the quiet of the hillside. THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL presentation of Autumn at her best....Anita
