LARS, LOUIS AND SIR HUGH.....

OFF on an adventure, Lars, Louis and Sir Hugh... can you guess who is who?

I took their picture in a hurry, so it isn't that good...but they were moving so fast I could scarcely focus the camera.

I will attempt to get a group photo when they return from their expedition.... I knew they were anxious to be off and away!

Got a chance to use my zoom lens as they swept past me on the shore..
and I heard them singing a familiar tune.

  1. Oh, MISS JERI LANDERS! Explorer extraordinaire! YOU are the brains behind this team of brave, wild and wooly creatures! DO NOT TELL ME that you fashioned this canoe......

    OMG.

Tea Rat is jealous. He is an adventurous rat and loves a good boat but this, THIS is the way to travel up and down stream!

    1. Bless your ever lovin heart Anita, I knew you'd appreciate the Explorers! I found the canoe on Ebay, l lucked out on that... James carved the paddles and I made the critters.. We think there should be one more little adventurer sitting on the stern. Maybe a wee bird with his leather journal and a pen in his beak. Someone needs to record the journey.

  3. Oh my I guessed Sir Hugh to be the one in the middle, with Louis in the front and Lars at the rear. I'm probably wrong all the way around. :-)

Three more wonderful critters created by you. Thanks for sharing ~ FlowerLady

    1. Lorraine, Yes, You are wrong all around! That's okay, because I was sneaky in naming the squirrel SIR HUGH... The fox is Lars.

  7. Oh I thought for sure that the gent in the middle dressed up like a Philadelphia lawyer was Sir Hugh. Mistake! I do like the fellow on the front but figured that he was the "lookout" keeping an alert eye out for rocks, sandbars and rapids.

    1. Vic, that is precisely why I named that silly squirrel Sir Hugh, since he looks the least like gentry. He is on lookout... but he's also NOT Paddling!
