Painting the stories for Trimble Manor and Pincushions for sale...

"Pippity Trimble lives in a stately old, brick and timber Manor, in the center of a vast and lovely garden. Here, the foxglove grows the tallest and the pink tea roses bloom in abundance."
So begins the first story of our mouse and her house.

You may remember Trimble Manor... I spent nearly 2 months building it for this little mouse.
Although, in the stories, the house was built in 1680, and PIPP's time is the 1890's.

The Manor is as much a character in this new set of books as is Pippity herself.
It rather defines her life as a quite fastidious and opinionated mouse-person.
I'm moving quickly along with the paintings and hope you will enjoy seeing glimpses of them as I go.
Back to the brushes and watercolor.....

    1. Charlene, This set of books will be smaller than My others, which will take a good deal less time to illustrate. Chances are pretty good that I'll have at least 2 of the books available before Christmas.

Everything about your place is amazing. I love the stone wall. I love your hand made animals, oh and the black and white sheet you've recently made, I don't remember her name without going back, is adorable. Wish I had just a tiny bit of your talent! :)

    1. Natascha, I've done nothing inside the house. I will have to finish the rooms for the Second book in the series, as the next story's illustration take place inside. I do have wallpaper and furniture and pots and pans... lots of wonderful little rugs ( made by my friend for Pippity!) Oh well, one thing at a time. I hope to build PIP a garden shed in the future, especially since I drew one in the book.

    1. Penny Please do send Bebe, she is always welcome in the Hollow. I know Pipp and Bebe will be fast friends! Besides, Pipp needs someone to help her weed... Afterwards they can sip lemongrass tea and eat raspberries. Hey, we have a new baby in the family... I will send you a pic.

    1. Starr, OH yes< she is absolutely an English mouse, I could do her voice for you right now if you were here. Just imagine a high pitched, but teeny tiny voice saying " I don't normally allow uninvited guests in my courtyard.... just don't dirty my sidewalk!"
