These are all characters in my books...
I am making these buns...
from mohair, felt, our sheep's wool and the like.
When I have about 2 dozen buns....
I will begin to make the mice of Hopalong Hollow,
and then the chippys and squirrels.
I may even make Drucilla P. Possum...
And the porcupine, Miz Stickywig.
But first I better unite poor Mother Hopalong with her body.
I'll be back with more buns soon.....including the bun that started it all, Hopalong Jack.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOWSA! Jeri Landers, you are torturing me....you are making me too happy here! HOW IN THEE SAM HILL do you do this? I'm confused. Between you and Penny pumping out the most adorable animals, I'm having my own SPRING party here. We have snow coming in, and our own garden bunnies are confused with me....they come out to munch the grass, but have been taking cover from the wicked north winds. But you recreate nature in a lovely state of frozen beauty. I WANT ONE, WOMAN! So if you ever sell, I'm in line! Gorgeous, just phenomenal.
ReplyDeletebeautiful friends you have ~ love their tiny noses!

I love your bunnies. Are they all dressed like characters in your books? How can you ever part with them (if you do put them on sale).
ReplyDeleteCathy, yes, I am trying to emulate the clothing I used in the books, if not in fabric pattern then at least in the style of outfit worn. Much of the fabric I am using for clothes, is actually fabric printed by Northcott from my first book.
DeleteJeri,
ReplyDeleteI had a peek at the bunnies last night just before signing off. I think I slept better for it. Beautiful work. They all have cheerful personalities.

Dear Cousin Jeri,
ReplyDeleteLove your "Parade of Bunnies"! Winky Fuzzyfoot's plaid outfit is so old fashioned looking, Opal Hopalong looks like the essence of feminine springtime in her pretty frock, Miss Bunwinkie has an exquisite bonnet, Buster Whiskerkins looks so dapper in his vest and hat, and Mother Hopalong's head has such a real, live bunny look! Wonderful!
