Good morning Jeri!!! It's fun to see your in-progress work, but I still don't EVEN understand the turns and twists you must make in order to end up with the exact likeness of these furry friends of ours. GOOD WORK!
Oh my goodness Jeri. I do NOT like real raccoons, but Miss Poppy and her little bear stole my heart. I don't like possums either but Miss D and her babies also nabbed my heart.
Your two 'dude' characters are wonderful too. They all have such unique personalities.
Your work is fantastic and I'll be surprised if any of these come back home with you.
We've had our problems with the real raccoons, Poppy is so much less troublesome. Part of me hopes that none of them sell at the gallery show, simply because I haven't been able to keep them with me long enough to appreciate them.
Poppy Loo is pure perfection! I love her, and the sweet bear she holds so gently. And Omar, what can I say except he is quite dapper. Love his jacket too. I really enjoyed your you tube video, they all came to life. Masterful work, dear friend! Love and blessings, Penny
Wow I am in love with Poppy Lou. She is just amazing. Thank you too for your wonderful video. It is always lovely to see your garden, art and hear your voice. Hope you have a great day. Hugs!
OH my, I think I just might love Omar. He looks like the old scruffy grampa that you just want to hug.
ReplyDeleteMy husband likes Omar the best, he even named him. I love that he looks so dopey in his big loose coat and his skinny legs with whopping big feet.

ReplyDeleteIt took me 8 hours just to form his body, it's such a long and somewhat tedious process with the felting needles. Penny knows!

Deletethese are just fantastic! i love the badger!
ReplyDeleteThe long sharp claws belie the gentleness of his nature.
DeleteI enjoyed your video very much! In fact, Mr. Fuzzywig looked liked he was about to speak as you approached.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can guess what he was going to say, " Can you spare a Cup of cream and a handful of Spinach for my quiche recipe?"
DeleteI can't imagine how you could let Poppy get away from you. She is absolutely adorable, such a sweet little face.
ReplyDeleteVIC< It's difficult to let them go.... but I have to make a living. The good thing is, I can always make one for myself if I want to.
