Who loves the color yellow?.
Isn't it just dandy to build one's nest in a field of Yellow?
"And speaking of YELLOW, I just happen to have 2, count em, TWO! newly hatched, YELLOW ducklings beneath me. And 4 more eggs too!"
"MY sister Lu-ADA, hatched her eggs yesterday.... she only got 4 yellow ducklings."
" My children will all be the color of SUNFLOWERS!"
"Lu-Ada's children are the color of mud...."
"But they'll wash up pretty good."
Is anything as precious as baby Ducklings? I don't think so.
These sister ducks had their nests right across from each other and the babies hatched within one day of the other. Now, we are delighted to have little uns again!
I love seeing your brood. Thank you for sharing!

Oh thank you for telling people about having water if they are going to have ducks. Baby geese come to mind as being right up there in cuteness compared with ducks-but I have a huge love of both. I wish I could hold them. I'd be there all day!
ReplyDeleteOh the sibling rivalry. So sweet!
