Five advance copies of my little book arrived to day and I have to say how PLEASED I am with everything about the book!
It is a marvelous way to start Easter Weekend, with a grateful heart and a smile on one's face.
Some of you have followed along with me on my 4th book journey and I thank you for it!
As you can see, I took the majority's advice and placed the little medallion on the bottom of the page, with the title at the top.
This book has been especially fun since the book only took my one year to complete as opposed to my larger books that require 2 years to finish.
It's always a thrill to see the words on the pages. I am so used to looking at my paintings without them.
Embossed book jackets make them ever so beautiful.....
It is a wee book at 6"x 6". I love that....
because these are Bitty Books for Bunny Paws!
You may remember the pantry in Pippity's house?
But you didn't know about the stink bug!
I am taking pre-orders on the books so that I will have all the envelopes prepared before the cargo of books come in on May19th.
All the information is on my website:

OR just click on the Pippity Trimble logo at the top right along the right border,
That will take you to the order page.

This book is also dedicated to all of my readers, thank you!
For those who live nearby and would like to pick up a copy in person, I am having an OPEN GARDEN and Book Signing right here in Hopalong Hollow, June 22-23. Everyone is invited. I'll post more details at a later date.
It looks amazing Jeri. I am still rather envious of Pippity's pantry, but not so much of her stink bug. Have a blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteLady, I have her stink bugs.... but not that pantry. Wonderful Easter to you as well!
DeleteI LOVE YOUR IDEA of an "Open Garden." Truly, you are living out your dream. So happy to see you, Jeri!
ReplyDeleteAnita, too bad you live so far away... you would love my donkeys!
DeleteI'm thrilled to hear that you are pleased with how your book turned out. I really, really hope that I can work it out to come to your Open Garden even though I live a bit far away. Please let us all know as soon as you decide the date. I already have something happening on June 14, 15, and 16, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that none of those dates is when you're thinking of having your Open Garden. What a double treat it would be to pick up my own copy of your new book AND to see your garden. BTW, I hope the summer poinsettia seeds get here next week and I can mail them to you. How can I get your mailing address? Thanks much. Diane in North Carolina
ReplyDeleteDiane, It's the first time I got a new book and found nothing wrong with it! I'm thinking June 2-3 or June 22-23. It would be a treat to see you again. I think the last time was in Black Mt. NC?
ReplyDeleteMy address is 391 Joppa Mountain Road, Rutledge Tn. 37861
Oh my goodness, what a great memory you have! Yes, it was Black Mt....that's been a while. It would be a wonderful treat for me to see you again, too. Either or those dates would be great. I just told my husband about your Open Garden plans and he agreed to go, if the date works out. I especially want to show him the arbor that James built for you several years back. Will you be having copies of your other books at your Open Garden? I have a few friends that I know would love them. I have shown your books to them and claim you as my long distance friend. As soon as the seeds come, I'll pop them in the mail and let you know when I send them, so you can be watching for them.
ReplyDeleteDiane, My husband would be pleased to show the Pergola he built from timbers AND the arbor he built from cedar trees. I will have all my books and my fiber work and my prints... everything. I display it all in my little potting shed that I never pot in.
DeleteI can only imagine what it feels like to get your story and illustrations back from the printers and see it in book form. I loved seeing Pippity's house again on your website. I suspect it will be a hit at your Open Garden and sell lots of books for you! The Easter Song was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCathy, I sincerely hope that one day, you too, will be holding in your hands the book that you have written. It truly is a thrill. I think that Pipps Manor house will be very popular!
DeleteIt's wonderful! Love the open garden idea, wish I could be there. Thanks for the beautiful Easter song!
ReplyDeleteWendy, Wish you could come, but I know it will be unlikely for most to attend.
DeleteHappy Easter dear friend!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I was close enough to come to your "open garden" and Book Signing.
I absolutely love the way your book turned out. This is a must have, for sure, and the embossed cover is gorgeous.
Thank you so much for visiting, and your kind words.
With love and blessings,
Penny
Penny, It would be more than fun if you were closer to me to visit. This is the first time I've received advance copies that were just what I expected, thank goodness for that!
DeleteHow lovely!!! Your book is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra.... It's pretty sweet!
DeleteJeri - your book is absolutely gorgeous. Oh how I wish I could attend your Open Garden. I have been to Tennessee and think it is such a beautiful state. I know for all those attending it will be such an inspiring blessing.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day. Hugs.
Debbie, There are so many fellow blogger I would love to meet in person, like you! It's too bad everyone lives so far away. Most that attend will be local people, which is understandable.
DeleteOh! Congratulations. So happy for you, it looks fabulous. That sounds like a wonderful size book. wishing you grand success with your sales.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting .. and the illustrations are so lovely ... I will have to look for it online... I do love a good bunny read..( ha ha)...Hugs
