I just can't believe....


 I just can't believe...

.
  That I actually grew these flowers... 
.
 and had enough to spare for the potting shed.

 I just can't believe...
that  I am laying bricks in 90 degree heat..
But I am.

  I just can't believe....
 I am blessed with  a loving husband, who BUILT this pergola...
 IN 90 Degree heat...
(I will show you how he built it next time around)

  I just can't believe..
 The Lord of the manor, captured this great photo! 
(it is not camera trickery)
I just can't believe...
 that the sales from  my first book book, built this beautiful barn, and that I have pumpkins and melons growing with zest right in front of it.
 We call it "the barn that Jack built", Hopalong Jack, that is.

  I can't believe..
I am still working on this illustration..but,

 It will be finished within 2 days.

 Believe it or not!

    I also love your posts and look forward to each one. Love those pretty flowers and the picture with the peacocks is beautiful. I have always loved peacocks and their feathers. You have a beautiful homeplace, I enjoy seeing pictures of it.

    OH JERI! I CAN believe it... I have to say that you determination and talents are endless... These photos are BEAUTIFUL! Your flowers my friend are so pretty, and the photo of the peacocks, I can't believe your dear husband got that shot... Amazing... How wonderful that the sales from your book paid for the beautiful barn... and that pergola and brick laying... Good gosh, it took my breath away...
    Please both of you be careful working so very hard in that heat.
    Jeri, your illustration is as beautiful as can be... I often wonder if and when you sleep..

    Your flowers are so lovely! I also watched your garden tour video on youtube and had such a wonderful time. I'm in total agreement...dig up that lawn and turn it into riot of colorful blooms.

    Thank you! I am truly honored to receive such encouraging words from an artist such as yourself. I picked up my sketch book and have not put it down.. I guess I was just...in the mood.. I am out of practice with my portraits so it is good to put some time in.. I did so much rework on Liz to even come close... Thank you for the compliment on my eyes... No where near the quality of my grandaughters talent.
    She is such an inspiration to me and my best critic. Thank you so much for coming over..
    I hope if you get an itch to draw an elf or fairy you will share with all of us.. I would LOVE to see. I can only imagine...

    THAT LAVENDER, HUH????? I wish I could grow it here in Minneapolis, but it would not take our winters! Ohhhh, it has to be difficult to try to grow it as it looks in the French countryside! I know that in California it grows well, but these regions where it grows in both locations, the soil must be just so.....HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PERFECT LAVENDER FIELD????? I have, in France. Ooooo dear, what a heavenly sight and scent!

    KEEP ON doing what you are doing in YOURU GARDEN; it is blissful and spreads joy!
