I just can't believe...
.
That I actually grew these flowers...
.
That I actually grew these flowers...
and had enough to spare for the potting shed.
I just can't believe...
that I am laying bricks in 90 degree heat..
But I am.
I just can't believe....
I am blessed with a loving husband, who BUILT this pergola...
IN 90 Degree heat...
(I will show you how he built it next time around)
I just can't believe..
The Lord of the manor, captured this great photo!
(it is not camera trickery)
I just can't believe...
that the sales from my first book book, built this beautiful barn, and that I have pumpkins and melons growing with zest right in front of it.
We call it "the barn that Jack built", Hopalong Jack, that is.
I can't believe..
It will be finished within 2 days.
Believe it or not!
Happy June to you all!
May it be simply...
UNBELIEVABLE!
( I still can't believe that I grew these flowers... gosh!)
I can't believe how talented you are. Love your posts and look forward to every one. What a fabulous shot with the peacocks. Hugs, Deb

ReplyDeleteJeri,
ReplyDeleteI love my visits to your farm. It is unbelievably beautiful...actually it really is quite believable!! Love that barn that Jack built. I would love if the Lord and Lady of the Manor could pay me a visit and work some of their magic on my farm!!!
Oh yes I do believe you could do all of this Jeri! What joy your blog brings to so many. In a world of hustle bustle with so many people working 8-5 you bring us all such wonderful relaxation by just looking at your blog. It truly is a treat you know. Maybe you should give tours! You could build another barn with that money too! :)
ReplyDeleteDear Jeri,
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful is all of it! The flowers are just so beautiful, and your place is just growing into a perfect oasis of peace and creativity.
Thanks for sharing your "unbelief". :)
Love,
Marqueta
And those flowers ARE beautiful! Love the pergola and will be delighted to hear how it all went. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kay
Lovely flowers! And I love that barn. Beautiful artwork. Hope you are enjoying summer and all the wonderful things around you. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine how you got the girls' to pose. And the boys too (on the gate). My peacock won't do anything we want except for honking his head off on the roof at sunrise each morning.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great post. You are always amazing, as is your garden. I have been away and love what I see now that I am back! I must admit your 90 degree heat is also impressive. 56 and raining here today. Don't we wish it were in between?!?!?
ReplyDeleteYou've been so busy as always, and the photo of you between the peacocks is truly wonderful. Love your barn, and the way you integrate your life and your work. I am thrilled for you.
Did you do anything with the tree that blew down?
What a fabulous post, dear Jeri!
ReplyDeleteYou have heaven on earth here, you really do...which you and your love helped create, making it that much sweeter.
Many many blessings to you!
Gorgeous work...
Hugs,
- Irina
Jeri I totally can't believe that incredible photo of you and the Peabody boys! Oh my gosh is that just soooooooooooo fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAs for all your talent...yep, I believe every single bit of your magic. I love it!
xx
Hi Jeri
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am truly honored to receive such encouraging words from an artist such as yourself. I picked up my sketch book and have not put it down.. I guess I was just...in the mood.. I am out of practice with my portraits so it is good to put some time in.. I did so much rework on Liz to even come close... Thank you for the compliment on my eyes... No where near the quality of my grandaughters talent.
She is such an inspiration to me and my best critic. Thank you so much for coming over..
I hope if you get an itch to draw an elf or fairy you will share with all of us.. I would LOVE to see. I can only imagine...
See you in Paris next week.. Bebe is all ready and waiting to take her first summer adventure to see the lights of Paris... Then we are off and running to who knows where.
Have a wonderful week my friend
Penny
Hello Jeri,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit! Your comment means a lot for me!!! I feel verry honered that you like my characters.
I'm a big fan of your paintings.
Greetings from Belgium,
Liliane
Oh Jeri,
ReplyDeleteTHAT LAVENDER, HUH????? I wish I could grow it here in Minneapolis, but it would not take our winters! Ohhhh, it has to be difficult to try to grow it as it looks in the French countryside! I know that in California it grows well, but these regions where it grows in both locations, the soil must be just so.....HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PERFECT LAVENDER FIELD????? I have, in France. Ooooo dear, what a heavenly sight and scent!
KEEP ON doing what you are doing in YOURU GARDEN; it is blissful and spreads joy!
Have a grand day my dear! Anita
Dear Cousin Jeri,
ReplyDeleteYour peacocks look so majestic on your garden gates, truly like the gates to an enchanted land! Your homegrown blooms are beautiful!
Your cousins,
Diane and daughter Sarah at the Corgyncombe Courant
Jeri your flowers are just beautiful. Girl I cannot believe you are laying bricks in 90 degree weather either. LOL! That is such a great shot with the Peacocks on the gates. It looks like they are posing just for you. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteMessage for Dimity Doormouse....
ReplyDeleteDear Dimity,
Please come take a ride with me to visit Paris..
Love,
